Integration Specialist – Mergers & Acquisitions

Location: Remote (USA – New York City Preferred)

Atypical Digital, a leader in the digital transformation space, is seeking a Merger & Acquisition Integration Specialist who is excited to join our M&A team and lead our pre-acquisition and post-acquisition integration strategy. You will lead our pre and post-acquisition integration activities and be responsible for guiding our acquired companies through the journey of strategic and operational integration, acting as a trusted partner and advocate throughout the M&A integration life cycle. If you excel in building executive relationships, communicating your data-driven recommendations to senior-level executives, willing to roll up your sleeves to help drive initiatives end to end — this challenge is for you.

Integration Specialist Responsibilities

  • You will be the trusted advisor to senior members of the Company and provide specific guidance and strategies around integration and implementation approaches for prospective and completed acquisition transactions.

  • You will define and lead multiple projects and maintain responsibility for project management, strategy development, implementation, and adoption.

  • You will support transaction teams throughout the due diligence, integration, implementation phases of acquisitions and work closely with key members of Atypical Digital and client-facing corporate development teams.

  • You will support the creation of executive-level analysis, briefings, & reports for internal and critical stakeholders.

  • You will be accountable for on-time delivery and project completion of plans while identifying and resolving roadblocks for overall integration strategy success.

Integration Specialist Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of corporate development or other strategy experience with a PRIMARY emphasis on M&A integration activities in an international environment.

  • Strong understanding of merger & acquisitions, go to market and data-driven integration concepts.

  • Strong communication and the ability to thoughtfully present, handle inevitable objections, inspire trust, and generate project enthusiasm.

  • Team player, flexible, adaptable, and willing to contribute wherever required in a small team environment.

  • Highly professional with a strong level of comfort interacting with US & International executives and clients.

  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications or a related field
